Colonial Braided Rug was founded in 1946. It has been owned and operated by the same family since 1978. Our business has continued to grow all of these years because of our outstanding quality and personalized customer service. We are constantly adding new color combinations and designs to keep up with the latest trends in home décor.

The yarn is special ordered and made to their specifications. The yarn is 100% American made in Dalton, GA. It is a spun polypropylene yarn. This is by far the strongest most colorfast fiber they have ever used. It has the look and feel of wool but is far more durable. The rugs are reversible, machine washable, and are so durable that they can even be used outside. Unlike other fibers that start out as a natural color and are soaked in dye, this spun polypropylene can even withstand pet “accidents” and not lose any color.

GUARANTEE: Your rug comes with a lifetime warranty on the sewing stitches.  If the sewing stitch were to break, i.e. dragging furniture across the rug, pet chewing, kids with scissors. Regardless of the reason we will repair your rug at no charge to you but you will be responsible for the freight cost.

CLEANING: You may put smaller rugs in your washing machine on gentle cycle, cold water, and a tide pod. Lay flat to dry. Larger rugs may be professionally cleaned, steamed cleaned or on a sunny day you may take your rug outside, lay flay in your driveway and hose it down. An instruction sheet will be inside your rug package that goes in to more cleaning detail.
