Collection: The Wood & Nail Folk Art, Russell Patton

"Sustainability and repurposing is my thing," directly from the PA artist himself. Russ Patton has been dabbling in all sorts of art since he was a child but it hasn't been until the last few years that he has been creating folk art houses and barns. Using all sorts of materials, his houses are charming, whimsical and downright American. He loves to use buntings and flags, that he hand paints himself made from scrap metals, including copper. His Grandfather was did copper roofs in the 1950ies and Russell now uses the leftovers for hinges and accents. Many materials are found by the roadside and turned into treasures.
