Classes, SATURDAY, 10/17, 10am start, THEOREM/VINEGAR GRAINING, Two classes, One day

We are so excited for these classes! 

The lost art of Theorem painting involves oil painting with a stencil on velveteen. Class Instructor, Amy Scheg, will show the process. It looks daunting but it can be done by beginners. The painting will take about 30 days to properly dry before putting it in your Vinegar Grained 8"x10" Frame

 Students will stencil this folk art design with multiple overlays in the early American tradition on velveteen with oil paints. 

Now for the Frame. You will learn the art of vinegar graining by manipulating a vinegar based glaze over a painted frame. The two pieces will make a beautiful coordinated piece of art to display.

All tools and supplies will be provided.   Students will go home with a completed theorem and frame with glass, and the stencil to use again.

Class fee includes the the tools for BOTH classes, a deli luncheon and snacks/refreshments.  Class size is limited.

The class fee must be prepaid. If WE cancel/reschedule the class, the fee or a class/store credit will be given. If YOU cannot attend AND call us within 24 hours, a class/store credit will be issued. If you simply do not come to the class, you will be provided with the class project to complete on your own and no refunds/credits will apply.
